Location: Preston (PR1)
Salary: £12.21ph+
Hours: 06:00am – 08:00am
As a School Cleaner in Preston, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Your role is essential in ensuring classrooms, corridors, and communal areas meet high hygiene standards, supporting a positive and healthy learning environment every day.
3 Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise classrooms, corridors, offices, restrooms, and communal areas daily.
- Perform tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste disposal.
- Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies as required.
- Follow health and safety procedures and handle cleaning materials safely.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the site supervisor or facilities team.
- Ensure cleaning duties are completed efficiently with minimal disruption to the school day.
4 Required Skills:
- Previous cleaning experience in schools, offices, or similar environments (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
- Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety and COSHH guidelines.
- An up-to-date Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
