2 Job Description:
Location: Preston (PR1)
Salary: £12.21ph+
Hours: Monday – Friday / 08:00am – 10:00am
As a Store Cleaner at Boots in Preston, you will maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the store, including customer areas, staff spaces, and restrooms. This temp-to-perm role is ideal for someone with retail cleaning experience who takes pride in creating a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and staff.
3 Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise store areas including floors, shelves, restrooms, and staff areas.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste disposal.
- Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed.
- Follow health and safety and COSHH guidelines when using cleaning products.
- Ensure the store is maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the store manager or supervisor.
4 Required Skills:
- Previous experience as a cleaner, ideally within a retail environment.
- Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of health and safety and COSHH regulations.
